WEEK 3 Celebration week

Independence day and the Eid al Adha

Third week, this week is can call it as our rest week because we don’t have class for the whole week because of the celebration of Independence Day of Indonesia and Eid Ul Adha for the Muslim. We only go to our school to join the celebration of the Eid Ul Adha and they show us their ritual, killing two cows and three goats as an offer to their God. We also help them by cutting the meat of the cow and goat. The meat will be given to the neighborhood and they also cook for us using those meat. During the cutting of the meat our teacher miss Fitri ask us if the UII has a plan to tour us in that week and we told them none that we are only staying at our dorm for the week because we are afraid to go out by ourselves. Our Indonesian buddy will show up during our tours only. Miss Fitri told us that she want to tour us in Borobudur temple and we all want it so the plan is Miss Fitri will try to enter us using a local ticket and we have to pretend that we are Indonesian and the only thing that we must do is to be quiet while entering two of Thai already entered next is us Filipina we all pass the gate successfully but when the time for the other two Thai to enter they got caught because they accidentally speak in English and we also got caught by the guards. They told us to buy the foreign ticket and it is expensive. We change our location and go river rafting and to the chicken church.
